Esibusisweni Straw Wine 2009 is a sweet dessert wine organically grown, handpicked & barrel aged on the Ezibusisweni bio-dynamic vineyard on the the Spier Estate Stellenbosch by bio-dynamic Farmer & Wine maker Angus Mcintosh & his incredible team. It's truely a 'Place of Blessings' an an example of what's possible in modern-day farming.

Grapes were dried on straw for 4 weeks until the Brix reached 47.5. Harvest was at 22.5.
They were then crushed, left overnight and then pressed and the juice directly into 225 litre barrels for 3 years.
