The Pillivuyt lasagne bakers are some of our most heavy-duty cooking pieces and they are built to last a lifetime. The walls are thick and even for longer, slower cooking without burning. Heat conduction and retention are key features. The impermeability of the Pillivuyt glaze means that even cooked-on food will slide off easily with a short soak or gentle scrub. The variety of sizes makes these dishes useful for a variety of recipes including casseroles and roasts. As with all Pillivuyt items, the glaze is exceptionally hard and resistant to scratching or chipping; all can be put in the freezer, the oven, the microwave, and the dishwasher. The medium lasagne baker is 11 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches with sides almost 3 inches deep and features sturdy, easy-to-grip handles on each end.
