Glenfiddich 12 year old Special Reserve holds the prestigious title of being the world’s most awarded single malt whisky. It is our family’s signature expression and proud pioneer of the Single Malt Scotch whisky category.
On the nose it is distinctively fresh and fruity with a hint of pear. Beautifully crafted and delicately balanced. In the mouth, it shows characteristic sweet, fruity notes that develop into butterscotch, cream, malt and subtle oak flavours. The finish is long, smooth and mellow.

The Story of Glenfiddich
The Glenfiddich Distillery was founded in Dufftown by William Grant in 1866. Built in the glen of the river Fiddich, the first Glenfiddich single malt ran from the stills on Christmas day in 1887.
A long family tradition followed through the generations, with Glenfiddich one of the few distilleries in Scotland to increase production during the era of prohibition in the USA.
ONE PRISTINE SOURCE - Only distillery in Scotland to use a single source of water throughout the entire whisky-making process, the pure waters of the Robbie Dhu spring, its unique highland tang wrought from millennia of flowing though Banffshire peat and over Scottish granite.
During the tough economic times of the 60’s and 70’s, Glenfiddich and its famous triangular bottle was instrumental in marketing “Single Malt” as the premium Scotch offering, leading to the establishment of the Single Malt category we know today.
Glenfiddich remains to this day a family run business, with current management the 5th generation descendants of Mr William Grant himself.
